Notes  

GASC Club Records were not updated between 1988 and 2003 and prior to 1988 they were recorded for only some events in 2 year age bandings.  Access to all time and swimmer information prior to May 2000 has not been possible so please read these notes to assist you. 

1.      No guarantee can be given as to the accuracy of the information contained in the tables and as more historical information becomes available records may be changed for older times as well as newly achieved ones.

2.      Times are for swimmer age on the day where the swimmers date of birth is known.

3.      Where a swimmers date of birth is not known but the year is, it is assumed that that swimmer was born on 1 January of that year.

4.      Where a swimmers year of birth is not known then the time has not been used unless the time has been stated as a record for eg 13/14 in which case it is assumed that that swimmer was 14 at the time of the swim.

5.      Exception to 3 is where the swim is an open record in which case it has been included as an open record but not in an age group.

6.      Some dates or venues are shown with a ? which means that some information is either not known or is in the process of being checked.
